About us

Putting people before profit in the pursuit of health equality

Inclusion Healthcare is a not-for-profit organisation providing specialist healthcare for people with complex needs, who don’t fit a traditional primary care model. This includes homeless people, asylum seekers and excluded patients.

Our vision is:

  • To improve the health and wellbeing of homeless and other marginalised groups of people by the delivery of responsive and high quality healthcare services.
  • To be a national leader in the delivery of responsive, high quality healthcare with a demonstrable record of improving the health and wellbeing of the marginalised groups we serve.

Serving the local community, its dedicated team has been delivering vital healthcare to vulnerable people in the city for more than 20 years, gaining national recognition for its support of those with complex needs.

As a social enterprise reinvesting its profits into its services, Inclusion Healthcare puts people before profit in the pursuit of health equality.

As well as dedicated services for asylum seekers through The Assist Practice and to homeless people and excluded patients via The Inclusion Practice, the community interest company also supports a day centre for homeless people called No.5. It provides housing advice, activities, a coffee bar and access to facilities such as washing, phone and internet as well as a safe place for street drinkers to access support and engage with partner services.
