The asylum seeker practice

Currently based in Clyde Street in Leicester, The Assist Practice for asylum seekers in Leicester City, is soon to be moving to Charles Berry House, which will enable a greater array of services to be provided to its patients.

Appointments are available from Monday to Friday with a GP or member of the Nursing Team, which can be booked via reception, and appointments are also available with a Mental Health Facilitator or Psychologist by referral from the team

In addition to routine GP services, the Assist Practice also offers

  • Midwife and Health Visitor appointments
  • Mental Health Facilitator appointments
  • Access to psychological therapies on site
  • Hosted advice clinics from the British Red Cross
