Homeless GP service

Based at our main premises, Charles Berry House, The Inclusion Practice offers GP and Nursing clinics Monday to Friday for the homeless of Leicester City, with additional clinics based in the Dawn Centre in the morning.

We offer registration to homeless people, residents of 2 hostels and women working in prostitution.

In addition to the usual GP services offered by practices, we also provide the following services:

  • Visiting ophthalmic optician
  • Midwife appointments
  • Practice Therapist for common mental health problems.
  • Health checks & chronic health reviews

Alcohol

In addition to primary care we are also able to offer specialist support for people with alcohol related difficulties.

Patients can self-refer or discuss a referral with a member of the clinical team.

Substance Misuse

For patients with substance misuse problems, patients are directed to Turning Point in Leicester who are the current providers of this service, but we are pleased to host some of their clinics in our practice and work closely with them for our patients benefit.

Patients who would like help with any drug or related alcohol problem should make and appointment to talk to a nurse or GP.
